Hector Slongo ( 34 ) was born in northern Italy and early on moved to Córdoba province, Argentina, where he currently lives. He was raised in the countryside, directly in contact with the natural world and from an early age developed a great passion for nature. His specific interest in birds started when he was eight and nowadays he is a keen birder and an avid sound recordist. He has a vast experience throughout most of Argentina and Bolivia, and has been also birding in Brazil, Britain and of course, Italy. Héctor is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian. His birding skills and friendly personality make of him a great guide and a perfect travel companion.
