Cuba Essential Birding

This Cuban tour provides you with a great opportunity to see over twenty Cuban endemic birds, as well as a good number of Caribbean regional-endemic species. Cuban endemics include Gundlach’s Hawk, Bee Hummingbird (smallest hummingbird in the world), Cuban Trogon, Cuban Tody, Cuban Parakeet, Zapata Wren, and many others.

More than twenty West Indian endemics are possible, including West Indian Whistling-Duck, Key West Quail-Dove, Great Lizard-Cuckoo, Loggerhead Kingbird and Western Spindalis.

You will also get to experience the local Cuban culture and have an opportunity to explore Havana and other interesting locations. Our friendly Cuban bird guide will be happy to discuss and give a local perspective on Cuban life, in addition to sharing his extensive knowledge of the local birds and wildlife.
