Enchanting Ecuador – Birding the Andes to the Amazon Itinerary
Trip Description
Brief Itinerary
After most participants have birded Northwest Ecuador, they yearn to return for more. Many will choose birding sites and lodges east of Quito for their return trip to Ecuador. Many experienced world birders love to visit eastern Ecuador as the lodges are a great value and the birding is always productive, with many species seen each day and always new life birds to be found.
These trips are planned to focus on bird watching. With our excellent guides, we can expect to see over 400 species on our 12 day trip. Excellent lodges including San Isidro and Wild Sumaco, and birding the Eastern Andes and Amazon of Quito set the stage for viewing many species not seen elsewhere in Northwest Ecuador.
