Besides spectacular birding, Tikal National Park offers a chance to see about sixty additional bird species and a chance to walk through the monuments of the ancient Mayan civilization (4th century BC).

White-nosed Coati, Spotted Skunk, Collared Peccary, Yucatán Black Howler, Kinkajou, Long-tailed Weasel, Northern Raccoon, White-tailed Deer, Central American Spider Monkey, Gray Fox.
