2022 Trip Pricing: $4,690 US Dollars*, or £3,470 GBP* for 9 Days and 8 Nights

Inclusions: 

• The Tour package includes all lodging, and access fees to reserves, parks, and other birding sites.

• Premier Bird Guide: All of our tours use the services of an excellent bird guide, often a well-recognized expert on birding in this area. 

• Top-Rated Preparation Services: We support your preparation for the trip. We provide information on the birds you will see and all the travel details, including all logistic details (arrival plans, trip itinerary, lodging details, and more), information on entry into the United States (if applicable), and information on travel health issues, packing information, and more. Most of our clients comment that our Trip Participation Guide is the best they have ever seen.

• Transport and Airport Transfers:                                                                           

  o   Local ground transport is included. This includes a van throughout the trip.  

  o   The tour price also includes the pelagic birding tour price as well, by boat.

  o   The tour does not include airport transfers. In most cases, it is best to use the contract airport                shuttle services (which we are happy to arrange); however, most clients prefer using taxis, Lyft,              and/or Uber.          

  o   The tour cost does not include the price of internal flights to the tour. Most clients spend about              $180 to $240 on these two (2) flights (which we are happy to book).  

• Acre for Bird Conservation: As part of our efforts to support bird conservation, we purchase in the name of customers (for each booking) at least one acre (but averaging between three and four acres) of wilderness to support bird conservation. As our trip prices are often 20% (and often even a better deal) less than our competition, this does not cost you more and it is a great way to support bird conservation around the world.

• Small-Group Pricing: All the prices mentioned above are for tour groups of seven participants. We are happy to provide pricing for private groups with fewer than seven participants.

• Private and Custom Group Pricing: We are glad to provide pricing for smaller groups (including couples) or custom groups.

 

*Pricing Notes and More Details:

 

• Mandy Tours: Mandy charges more for guiding, and her tours cost $400 more than Jesse's tours for these nine-day tours.

• US Dollar Pricing: The price is fixed in US Dollars (USD).

• British Pound* Pricing: The GBP price indicated above is based on the July 20 2021 exchange rate of 0.74 GBP per US dollar. The trip price is fixed in US dollars, and the final charges for the trip will be based upon the actual exchange rates we pay. Though we work to minimize bank charges with banking in Canada and the United Kingdom, banks do often charge about 1% (and often a bit less) for making the exchange.

• Bank Fees: We do not charge bank fees for wire transfers for clients paying into our accounts in the United States, the United Kingdom, and/or Canada.

• Note on Meal Inclusion: (1) Breakfast is included in the 9-day tour price for Hawaii. (2) Mandy Tours all have a mandatory meal plan of $60 per day so plan to be billed another $540 for the mandatory meal plan. (3) For Jesse Tours most clients spend $50 or more per day for lunch and supper. Meals in Hawaii are expensive.

• Note on Beverage Inclusion: Each day, we provide water to refill your bottles during the birding day. 

• Group Size: We anticipate a group of seven participants for the main trip, and pricing is based on this group size. 

 

Optional Costs for Booking the Trip:

 

Single Room Supplement: The single supplement for this trip is $1,340 USD (or £990). This is the price we charge for the additional cost of anyone not sharing a room with another birder (and/or a spouse). If you want a single room, please let us know. We are often able to find a roommate for those wanting to share a room with a person of the same sex.

 

Tipping for Meals/Lodging: Gratuities for drivers, hotel staff, and restaurant staff are not included in the pricing for this tour.

 

Notes on Other Tour Costs: Exclusions: 

• You will need to pay for any flight costs involved in this trip. 

• The tour fee does not include taxes/fees for entering or exiting the country, telephone calls, laundry, or other items of a personal nature.

• Tips for birding guides, trip drivers, restaurant servers, and hotel staff are not included in the tour price.
